Four years ago this summer I had a spell of seizures that the doctor said almost took my life. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy many years earlier as a young man, after struggling with the seizure disorder I began to lose hope of ever being restored to my former self. I felt a loss of control over my own mind and body. After being treated with ineffective medication that only made me depressed and depleted. I found the only thing that eased my anxiety was to do what I loved; create art. Already heavily involved in the visual arts, I began to take writing lyrics very seriously. Wreckilepsy represents the healing I have discovered through art and Hip Hop music.

I have not had a seizure since that summer day and have been off all medications for 2 years.
